FAQ’s
| Frequently Asked Questions at Best Tree Care.
Q - Why should I care for my trees? A - Trees don’t take care of themselves. In forests and natural areas trees can grow naturally without our help. However, in the city and suburbs they do need help staying healthy and beautiful. In these areas, trees contend with pollution, road salt, confined areas of growth, poor soils, and lawn maintenance damage to root systems. Q - My landscaper that takes care of my lawn said they will trim my trees for me. Is that okay? A - No. If you want your lawn looking nice, hire a landscaper. If you want your trees and shrubs cared for properly hire an arborist. Best Tree Care has the proper knowledge and equipment to care for your trees safely and economically. Q - Do you have a 24 hour service? A - Yes. Best Tree Care is completely prepared with the knowledge and up to date equipment needed to handle any emergency, whether large or small. We excel in this area due to our quick response time, superior safety record and affordable rates. Q - Do you offer any type of guarantee? A - Yes. Best Tree Care is not satisfied until you, the client, are satisfied and we will work diligently with you until you are. A - Pruning should be done on a regular basis for several reasons. Some of these reasons include aesthetic value, to allow natural light through, and to reduce loss of limbs during any type of storm. The arborist can inspect trees at this time to see if there are any diseases or insects. If detected early we can initiate treatment before it is too late to save the tree. Q - When is the best time to prune? A - In the winter after leaves have fallen and the tree has gone dormant, it is easier to see the structure of the tree. This has multiple advantages, which includes lower cost to our clients. The ground freezes so you can usually gain closer access. We can, in most cases, see diseases in trees and can treat as necessary before they spread during the growing season. This is also an ideal time to assess if cabling or bracing is needed. Q - Why is it important to hire a certified arborist? A - Certified arborists follow the ANSI standards. A certification is voluntary in our trade. Having a certified arborist working for you should ease your mind. You know you are getting the BEST quality of work and care for your trees. Best Tree Care is just that. Whether we are trimming, removing, or injecting your trees, you can rest easy knowing you hired BEST. Q - Do you carry liability, property damage, and workers compensation insurance? A - Yes.
